There’s mutual interest in a reunion between the Dodgers and free agent infielder Chase Utley, as Zaidi revealed that the two sides continue to “have conversations.”
So apparently if the Dodgers can unload Kemp's deal they would offer something to Yu

Not holding my breath on that one unfortunately

Yeah, I'm wondering if they just release Kemp. I mean he isn't going to play unless they have some significant injuries.
He would need at least 3 of the following injured Puig, Taylor, Pederson, Toles, Thompson, Verdugo to even see any type of action

Unwilling to part with either Victor Robles or Juan Soto in J.T. Realmuto talks with the Marlins, the Nationals are instead open to centering a package for the star catcher around prospects Carter Kieboom and Erick Fedde, reports MLB.com’s Joe Frisaro.

In the latest example of player frustration over the stagnant free-agent market, Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen illustrated that it’s not only unsigned players that are unhappy with how the offseason has played out. “Maybe we have to go on strike, to be honest with you,” Jansen told reporters at the team’s Fan Fest over the weekend (link via Bill Shaikin of the L.A. Times). “…That is something we might have to address, so you don’t have a lot of Miami Marlins doing this. Maybe it’s an adjustment for us, as the players’ union.”
Strike would be horrible, they are finally in a good spot again

This is from Andy McCullough who knows his shite about the team and front office
quote:
Yes. My understanding is that Yu Darvish has made clear he would like to return to the Dodgers, and part of the delay in his free agency is related to waiting to see if the team can move some of the money. The Dodgers have explored scenarios for moving useful but (theoretically) extraneous assets such as Yasmani Grandal, Logan Forsythe and Hyun-Jin Ryu. Given the fact that those players are still Dodgers and Darvish is still a free agent, you can guess how the market has reacted to this gambit by the front office.

Royals trade Ryan Buchter and Brandon Moss to A’s for Jesse Hahn and Heath Fillmyer. Consider the stove lit

I really like Avila that's a sneaky good signing. Seems like some of the middle tier guys are starting to sign so maybe the gridlock is ending and some big names will be signing soon

I know Forsythe is an OK player, but I was surprised he makes $9M a year. Yikes.

Only problem with Avila is one more wrong foul ball to the mask and he is probably done catching and maybe done with baseball

In Dave Dombrowski’s last three seasons as Tigers’ GM, Baseball America ranked Detroit’s farm system 27th, 28th, and 30th. Since Dombrowski took over in Boston, the Red Sox system has gone from 4th to 14th to 24th.
