Which numbers? Yes. He's one of the worst when it comes to keeping the ball in front of him, he's one of the best at framing

Definitely. It would make sense to sign Martinez and put him in left, move Benintendi to center and trade Bradley.

However, I think BOS would be better off going for Moustakas over Hosmer and putting Devers at 1B.

He opted out because he had leverage to get a long term deal at 32, he won't get 13 million but he will get something around 3-4 years and 11-12 million a year.

Cards are paying Cecil 7.5 million so it isn't like they have no issues paying a average closer a lot of money.

They thought he would be their shut down lefty. If they pay a 32 year old 13mil per, then Mo is dumber than i originally thought.

Devers is their 3B from everything I read, he looked good this year. Haven't looked at advance stats to see how he graded out though

He looked like a guy who will have a hard time sticking at 3B unless he really takes fitness seriously. Love the bat though.

Hosmer has had some solid seasons and also some awful ones. I think he will be overpaid.

Devers is too short to play 1B. He'll stick at 3rd once he gets acclimated to the speed of the game. Remember, he had only had 9 games under his belt at AAA before being called up.

Moustakas is even more volatile. He'd fit right into the Cards low OBP/power hitting, meh defense mold.

True, but the estimates I’ve read have Hosmer getting a bigger contract. Must be the mystique of the Royals title run boosting their value

Hosmer is a 4 win player who is still only 28. He's gonna get paid for sure. He'd be a great veteran presence in that Boston lineup. I think that'd be a good fit

I think Moustakas is a Boras client, he gon get paid you know it. I wouldnt touch him

He’s also been a ~1 win player twice the last 4 years. I just think it’s a little riskier than some might think. If he’s a .850 OPS guy consistently then he’ll be a good signing.

Devers is a lot more athletic than people are giving him credit for. He’s not built like Adonis, but he’s not Panda either. Maybe he grows out of third, but that’s well down the road.

Devers also will have the type of bat where if he is slightly below average defensively it won't be a big deal

That along with the emphasis on analytics and the shifting of INF defense these days.

Will the Dodgers trade Joc for another pitcher or middle infielder???

Go with an outfield of Puig, Taylor, and Verdugo????
Let Forsythe go and trade Joc for someone, or trade Joc for a pitcher who could help
