More "action" per game in MLB than in the NFL

Totally agree with them, the game is nothing more than glorified home run derby. Too many teams have thinned the pitching out to the point a team might have a couple of legit MLB pitchers if they are lucky.

My grip with MLB is the cost to attend.

The time between balls in play is at an all time high.

They keep trying to make the games shorter yet this year is averaging more than year.

I miss the 2.5 hour games. I’d make them 7 innings or have a 140 game schedule. Shave a month off the season.

They would become a lot more interesting.

Yeah. I'd much rather watch someone take that first ball strike (action?) then 6 offensive Linemen go no holds barred with a defensive front 7 for 6 seconds.

It’s definitely not as enjoyable as it used to be. It’s going to be harder and harder to attract new fans to the game with how the game is played now. Has any GM or owner ever said they aren’t willing to pay up to someone that can hit .320 and steal 50 bases? It’s sad the way the game has changed, but I don’t see it changing anytime soon.
