And like I said, they were good enough to make it to the Finals.

Solely because of Lebron

the Heat would not have made it out of round 1 in the postseason and might not have even made the post-season had they been in the West...and played those teams all year long.

This was a spanking of a team that didn't even belong in the Finals.

My post that you quoted has absolutely zero to do with the heat.

Which explains why he shot under 39 percent in that series right?

It's not like they added Kukoc and Kerr or anything.

It's not like the Cavaliers lost Daughtery for 30 odd games at the end of the season, lost Larry Nance for roughly 50 games, and had Craig Ehlo retire before the season started.

It's not like the Celtics lost Kevin McHale and Robert Parrish to retirement and Reggie Lewis died or anything. Their best player this season was a guy named Dino. Dino. Din. Di. D.

It's not like the Hornets had their two top players in Mourning and Johnson miss over 50 games combined.

The Nets' best player- Drazen Petrovic was killed in the offseason.

The Pistons fell off the map.

So yeah, the Bulls were able to win 55 games despite losing Jordan. They also added two solid contributors in his place and half of the Eastern Conference was significantly worse than they were the prior season. Perspective kid. Get some.

The Bulls won 55 games with their 2 best players Pippen and Grant missing TWENTY-TWO games. Dude get over it MJ had far and away the greatest supporting cast in the history of basketball

That's a simple and effective way of looking at it.

And before anyone asks, no, I will not choose Robert Horry over MJ.

In the Finals? Yeah they got swept. They got there riding him and when the spurs could neutralize him they got destroyed.

In the ECF he shot 45% average 25.5, 9 and 8.5.

Nope just stating facts. Bulls won 55 wins without MJ and with Pippen + Grant missing 22 games.

All you did was state that the East got worse big whoop. The Bulls won 55 games with their top 2 players missing 22 games

Of course, SFP is the end all be all....

Why did he think referencing a random MSB poster was going to win us over? Why would SFP be a greater source of knowledge on this subject than any other slapdick on this board?

You could compare the whole east were kind of jacked up that year as well.

Jordan had a great cast, but Jordan's worth to the team wasn't just "2 wins".

For every argument people say LeBron left and look what happened to Cleveland. I mean LeBron + Bosh were "only worth" +11 wins, right?

Elimination game, tired as frick, played 41/43 minutes and he sits out the rest of the game. I don't think any other top 5 player sits and bends over. You could see it few games back, he mentally checked out.

He had his first legitimate "GOAT" Finals statline, and it would go down as one of the best performances in the finals ever if they won.

Link?

FWIW, you are coming off as a moron grasping to bullshite speculation to try and prop up LBJ over MJ.

LBJ will wind up being top 5 maybe even number 2 all time but no matter what he does now he will never reach Jordans level. Sorry.

The age argument is so stupid by Lebron fans

the age argument makes a lot more sense than the years argument, and was accepted as fact pre-LBJ

again, nobody used that argument with kobe, and kobe is a great example why age > years

LBJ was just much, much better than kobe was early on, so people threw it out

because i've gone into intricate detail about this argument for years now, which is why he included the ad nauseum part

i've still gone into detail about the argument over and over since last night
