...Marvin Wilson, and a few other FSU players, beg to differ:

What an awful way to start with your new players.

Why would you dime out your coach like that? What's the point?

I will always love Jimbo Fisher, being an ex-LSU coach and all, but he really did a number on that program before he left.

I love how there’s rumblings amongst the players that they will refuse to show up to practice or attend work outs.

I hope they realize they aren’t professional athletes and Norvell can pull their scholarships if they refuse to participate in team activities

F all that. Wilson should be solely focused on preparing for next season. Work out like a maniac. Guy can be a high pick and get his family generational wealth. He'll probably barely ever talk to the head coach. Everybody should be keeping him focused and blocking out all the other noise..

Hard not to laugh at this point. Hopefully he was misquoted or something was lost in translation, but I expect the worst at this point lol

Clout.

See guys who dumped on a guy they know would have their back while his son is in a hospital with a staph infection on his bone, because they read a headline instead of calling him to clarify.

I think Norvell was being loose with his words and underestimated the destructive shithole that Twitter is. He should have known to walk on eggshells and say exactly the right thing with every syllable but Marvin who is supposedly such a great leader just lit the Twitter fire at midnight without even confronting Norvell or getting his side of story. No matter what Norvell's intention was Twitter has already decided it

eh, apparently this dude said he transcribed his report from an audio recording. that doesnt sound like norvell was loose with his words but maybe just a general misrepresentation i guess. and that tweet is over a day old. its possible that marvin did talk to norvell and wasnt happy with what norvell said to him

i guess we will never really know. but a really bad look right now for norvell
