Probably more to do with things like the FL game 2 years ago than all the nonsense I've read in this thread.
Dealing with emotions prior to that game when finding out Fournette decided to play. How that affected his performance on the field, etc.
Or maybe just teams trying to gain an advantage in the draft? Who knows?

I will try to weigh in from both sides
As an '06 Catholic grad, who has more than a few old classmates as coached and teachers at CHS, Guice has his fair share of issues there, and wasnt the best of students/teammates.
Now, in saying that, it wasnt outrageous things, but he sure sounded like a turd
However, he seemed to have matured, admitted in interviews he has changed and he now views CHS as the thing that turned his life around, and he never got in trouble or had anything negative come out while at LSU in terms of him being a poor teammate.
So, this "character issue" thing seems like a surprise to me at this point of his life
