Rarely do I root for people to fail, but it would be awesome if he just stops growing, or doesn't develop and is a scrub (relatively speaking) by his senior year of HS. Wonder what USC does, then.

Normally in b-ball, you can tell, though, just because of how the game's played. Football's not like that.

not really. Has nothing to do with Kiffin and I am not a kiff supporter in any way. Verbal commitments mean very little and the trend is to evaluate kids at a younger and younger age. Neuheisal was recruiting this kid 2 years ago

I don't doubt this, but how is this legal? Can they do this because they aren't legally 'prospects' yet? I know for basketball they had to recently classify middle schoolers as prospects so as to govern how coaches could contact them.
