3/10 attempt to spin the situation

If you told everyone here that we would win a national championship this year running the wing T offense with Harris never attemting a single pass, everyone here would be onboard.

People are complaining because they don't think what we have seen so far will win us a national championship. And history supports that theory.

I'm referring to their offensive philosophy. We clearly have better RBs, but they are able to achieve similar results running the ball because they put their athletes in favorable situations. We do the exact opposite by telegraphing where we are running every play.

Noone is complaining about taking advantage of an effective running game. What we are complaining about is lack of imagination and telegraphing our plays. You can run the ball a million different ways. But Les continues to use toss dive after toss dive out of the power I formation.

Create some space. Be deceptive. Create mismatches. That doesn't make you a pussy, its just smart football. How many yards per carry do you think Oregon or auburn would have if they lined up in the power I and did the toss dive every play?

Who knows, if we did those things we might be going for 7.5 yards per carry.

I'll counter your question with a single question. The answer to the following question is also the root cause of all your questions. When are black americans going to accept and fix THEIR problems?

Black americans continue to blame a government and system for transgressions that occurred hundreds of years ago. Transgressions which involved no one alive today and was not illegal at the time.

Black americans struggles are directly tied to their social and moral values. They are the only group of immigrants (we all are immigrants) that can not ascend the socioeconomic ladder, and this is not due to racism or oppression. There was/is racism and oppression of Irish, italian, and currently mexican americans. Yet they seem to have overcome these barriers. The problem with the majority of black americans is that they DO NOT want to cimb the socioeconomic ladder. They want someone to put them in an elevator and bring them to the top. Their communities are broken because they idolize rappers and drug dealers who steal, murder, and leave broken families in their wake to create the next generation of dysfunction.

The answer to black americans problems is within themselves. They need to stop turning their back on their communities and clean them up. Stay with your families and dont leave a child without a father. Give yound blacks a positive role model Etc.

OBAMA had a chance to address these issues but he chooses to solidify black americans thoughts that their problems are from outside influences. And this is exactly why you see race relations at an all time low.

I think we can all agree most of these problems stem from the family structure of poor black society.

Why are there more black single mothers than any other race?

Is it a poverty issue? No.

When the slaves were freed were there any factors that made black men leave their families high and dry? No.

This is the result of a culture of self centerdness, selfishness, and entitlement that has developed as a result of their own doing. An issue that the black community never wants to address. They want to blame everything else but themselves.

These kids are in highschool, who knows if they have what it takes. Odds are they dont, thats just statistics.

How is it sabotaging yourself to tell Miles you won't give him an unlimited budget, that they won't pay the buyouts of the newly signed staff to bring in a entirely new crew, and they won't promise the new DC a guaranteed contract if Miles gets canned.

It sounds like someone is doing what we all want them to do and lighting a fire under Les' arse.
