Mid 1990's NFL Theme Music was Phenomenal

The intros were so much better back then, the theme music was fantastic.
NBC Mid 90's NFL Theme

For one brief year in 1992 or 1993 NBC had good introduction music. From there on it became noticeably worse. I love the old CBS music from the '90s. That was perfect. What they go with now is terrible. Why change what was perfect? FOX'so music is so awesome there is no need to ruin it with something worse.

Once or twice in a blue moon I’ll throw the NFL Primetime soundtrack in YouTube. I find myself crushing excel spreadsheets with a fury when I do.

Respectfully, I disagree on the mid 90s NBC theme. It sounded like ballet music. The CBS and FOX clips from 1998 were great.
The '80s and early '90s were the high points for this stuff, especially on CBS. The combo of Pat Summerall's voice and the music on the opening tease of this 1987 Giants-Saints game is perfection.

1981-85 NFL on CBS (says '86, but '86 was the start of the "Pots and Pans" music that's playing in the Summerall intro link above)
1983-88 NFL on NBC
1983-88 NBC MLB Game of the Week
1981-87 NCAA basketball on CBS
1980s NCAA basketball on NBC
1980s NBA on CBS
And a personal favorite, NBC Sports mid-70s-to-1981 or so theme. They used this for MLB and NFL (more for game breaks on NFL by about 1978-81:
NBC Sports 1970s/early 80s)

Baseball Tonight - 1992
I used to stay up as a kid every night to watch this show, it was the best. People don't realize how good we had it back in the day when the ESPN was just Sports, and you knew a baseball show would be nothing but baseball highlights and informative breakdowns by people like Peter Gammons, Dave Campbell, Etc.
