Joke of a franchise

It has never recovered from 28-3.

And it may never do so. MBS has been standing for almost a decade, and has never hosted a Falcons playoff game. The mortgage will be paid off before the Falcons are contenders again.

Pitts is gone in the off-season, and I fully expect Bijan to end up in Tampa and promptly go absolutely ham a la Saquon in Philly.

I think I'd take Glenn over Morris. Morris actually has some pieces to work with and isn't doing anything. Nobody could win with that Jets roster. At least the players seem to like Glenn.

I’m thinking of becoming a Dolphins fan. Jacksonville or Carolina would make more sense though strictly for driving distance though.

The NFL version of Brian Kelly looking at his assistants after every play and asking “what just happened?”

They've been my AFC team since their inception. During the Coughlin and Del Rio years, they were infinitely more watchable than these asshats.

They may have something brewing there with Coen.

Who knew that Raheem Morris, who sucked as HC for the Bucs 15 years ago, would suck again as a HC. That was such a terrible hire by them and I am very glad for it. Losing to a Darren Rizzi led Saints team and costing themselves the playoffs last year should have been grounds for termination.

Not to mention, he gave Bryce Young a career performance.

Hard to judge Glenn when the jets are an absolute dumpster fire no matter the coach. Woody Johnson is the problem.

Morris refutes:

quote:

"Stop looking for stuff on a young man," Morris said Friday. "You don't need this stuff on him. It is what it is. But all of those things people do, it doesn't matter to affect this building.

I'm serious, that's the lead quote in the refutation article on ESPN. No wonder Penix doesn't talk to him.

(the remainder of the article seems to pretty heavily insinuate it was out of context and Penix feels supported, FWIW)

Everyone talking about how much players love Raheem always cracked me up. There is not a chance in hell a room full of grown men tolerates his PT Barnum bullshite.

When you hire Raheem Morris as your HC you aren't a serious franchise

This right here. Could have had Vrabel, interviewed him twice.
But we know why Raheem was hired.

He’s supposedly contacting DeBoer and Grubbs weekly for input.

I grew up a Panthers fan. Been a falcons fan since college.

Looking back, I guess I was never really a fan of anyone. never been to an nfl game.
