When I think hard-nosed players, I think Dominique Wilkins.

And I'm sure Craig Ehlo is surprised to be rated as better than every single player in the current game save four. Well done!

Nothing is more boring, yet more expected, than an older player talking about how soft players from the modern era couldn't compete against the true legends from his own era. The older you get, the better you were.

That said, the 90s TrailBlazers would bitch slap just about every team in the NBA right now. The best teams then had far superior depth.

Well I used to right it up as he's just a prick. Now his stupid comments seem to be discussed every day like they are news.

JORDAN PLAYS his new favorite trivia game, asking which current players could be nearly as successful in his era. "Our era," he says over and over again, calling modern players soft, coddled and ill-prepared for the highest level of the game. This is personal to him, since he'll be compared to this generation, and since he has to build a franchise with this generation's players.

"I'll give you a hint," he says. "I can only come up with four."

He lists them: LeBron, Kobe, Tim Duncan, Dirk Nowitzki. As he's making his point, Yvette walks into the living room area and, in a tone of voice familiar to every husband who argues sports with his buddies, asks, "You guys need anything?"

He keeps saying ridiculous things.

but since he gave his Hall of Fame speech blasting his high school coach for cutting him as a sophomore, he hasn't done anything but belittle everyone around him.

I agree with this.

Kevin Garnett
Paul Pierce
Dwayne Wade

I would add those 3 when you look at their careers.

Jordan isn't referring to sheer athleticism and ability but to the way basketball was played back then. Basketball in the 80's & 90's had a resemblance to the Big Ten and its "3 yards in a cloud of dust" apporoach. He is basically saying that the guys of today aren't tough enough.

LOL, Jordan isn't saying shite with any kind of factual thought. He's just talking shite about how much better it was in his day, just like every old person ever who talks about stuff they used to do

As has been said a lot recently, Jordan has never been accused of being an awesome judge of talent.

FYI, his death was one of 2010 cases being reviewed by the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation because the laboratory either mishandled, fabricated, or omitted evidence.

That's why I say he'd be a good all-star and that's about it if, hypothetically, Jordan would start his career today under a different name. No league on court protection and the talent caught up with him.
