Funny how he seems to be a constant victim of this. Eventually, you need to quit putting yourself in these situations.

Michael Irvin sort of seems like a disaster of a human being in anything that doesn’t involve catching footballs.

Without the details of the charge, how do we know he put himself in any situation? The last time he was charged and subsequently not prosecuted was for a 45-second conversation he had with what looked to be a fan in the lobby of a hotel. What if this is something similar?

I'm not a big Michael Irvin fan but he works in a business that is predicated on fans so he almost has to interact when he is out in public. Otherwise, the narrative becomes something else negative about him, that he is aloof or he is anti-social and unlikeable. In many respects, those guys are in a no-win situation anytime they are in public.

As does a lot of former players, but his name constantly comes up. Bad luck? The one constant in all of this is Michael Irvin. I find it hard to believe everyone is out to get Irvin. If he’s rubbing people the wrong way, then maybe he shouldn’t interact. And I’m a life long Cowboys fan who loved Michalel.

From all accounts, everyone who works with or knows Michael Irvin loves him. They all talk about how great he is to be around.

The cocaine just brings out the demons in him.

How often in his 20-plus-year broadcasting career? How often have the accusers won or gotten a settlement?

Rubbing people the wrong way is not a crime. We'll see what comes of this, though. I am not dismissing the possibility, far from it. Arrogant people tend to do things from a sense of entitlement and Michael Irvin comes across as an arrogant prick at times, maybe even often. But, again, simply being an arrogant prick is not a crime though sometimes I wish it were

Rarely. He bodied Marriott w his 100M lawsuit and settled out of court in less than a year. This better have teeth or he'll get paid handsomely again.

That's pretty damn unfair.

He's also a pretty great prison yard hooper, which might come in handy soon.
