He said it in a classic Michael Irvin screaming rant on Stephen A. Smith’s ESPN+ show. With Dak’s new contract, it appears many Cowboys fans are now blind to all of the other issues the Cowboys have and truly believe that they will, without a doubt, win the Super Bowl this upcoming season.

Yea I’m not going with his judgment, remember 2019

Police found Irvin with two topless dancers, former teammate Alfredo Roberts, and more than 10 grams of cocaine and one ounce of marijuana. Irvin and the two women with him were later indicted on second-degree felony charges of cocaine possession and misdemeanor marijuana charges.

Michael Irvin should be checked for chronic traumatic encephalopathy, or CTE.

As a Cowboys fan that lives in Dallas, most people don’t feel this way

Most of the sports radio and columnist guys admit he’s a borderline top 10-12 QB and Jerry had no choice but to sign him since Dak had all the leverage

I think he’s a solid B quarterback but not a QB that can put a whole team on his back and go win a SB

Half the Cowboy fans I know think $25M would be overpaying for Dak, and are in shock he’s getting $40 million per year. They are convinced the new contract will hamstring the organization for years.

All of them know their defense is awful, and Mike McCarthy is probably a worse coach than Garrett.

But those are the ones I know. The rest of their fan base is filled with idiots. I’m convinced a large portion of their fan base chose to be fans of the Cowboys just to troll their friends and family, and pick fights in the stands if they are ever lucky enough to scrape together enough money for a nosebleed seat.

The worst of it is that they haven't won with him. At one time he was taking snaps behind the best OL in the NFL, had great skill people, and the best running back in the league. The head coach was just terrible. Now, a lot of that OL is missing, the guy replacing "The Ginger" went belly up on his maiden voyage, and Dak is coming off a devastating injury that compromises one of his greatest assets and finally, they just blew up the salary cap for years to come. What could go wrong?

I don't disagree with Irvin's positivity about Dak but he doesn't have to go full retard. Dak is being very underrated by a lot of folks saying he isn't worthy of the contract.
