To be fair, he went 9/19 without any free throws or 3pters. Not ideal, but still efficient.

Less than 1 eps is actually not efficient.

Funny to see someone wearing them in a basketball game. I've got a few pairs myself, but I never considered them to be elite basketball shoes in the 21st century.

Covering college basketball this year, I've seen probably more than 10 players wearing the 72-10 11's.

he was one of those guys who was perfectly built for college and is a tweener in the NBA

he could have been a consistent all star in teh NBA if EVERYTHING fell right but MVP? naw

Beasley came the year after Durant and made his numbers look pedestrian.

and he was a different type of player. much more physically mature as a freshman than durant without the same measurables

durant was a full 2" taller with 4" more wingspan. his standing reach was 3" higher

beasley was almost 25 lbs heavier and much stronger and that allowed him to be a bull down low. something he couldn't get away with in the NBA. he worked a lot more down low than durant banging bodies. durant was a better shooter and kept getting better as a shooter

*ETA: he's almost the same age as durant. that is a big reason why he was more physically mature playing college ball a year later
