OK, that makes sense. It kind of reminded me of the shot he made earlier in the playoffs (I think it was against the Lakers). I wonder if he made it if that would have potentially changed the call. Obviously, technically the answer should be no, but I wonder if subconsciously there's a difference for the refs.
I've always understood the general concept of continuation, but it seems difficult to sometimes determine what exactly it constitutes. I don't like it much, as I think it puts too much discretion into the hands of the officials, but I understand why the NBA has it.
