I'm sure he gets paid well, but I would hate to have that job. Knowing that virtually everything I say (on national TV for millions to watch) is stupid, and is only out there for the purpose of getting people pissed and calling me an idiot. In his head while he's doing this stuff he HAS to be saying "dammit, why are they making me say this stupid crap". I mean everywhere the guy goes people are going to call him a no talent dumbass, when in reality he's just reading a script. That would suck.

better at what? posting opinions? I'm serious about Flacco. nobody else I would want...he has overtaken romo in my book as the premiere guy...

its funny how all the butthurt saints fans can't comprehend how any one would fail to fall at the feet of brees and worship...anyone who doesn't is called a "bad troll"...Reality is calling. Hello? anyone?

You're not even a clever troll. You can't even fake sincerity.

I don't think people fully appreciate guys like Skip and SAS. Both were good journalists back in the day, and they both sold out to play characters on TV and radio. It's awesome that so many people take them seriously. They're essentially soap opera characters for dudes.

Yup this is why I like Skip, you can even see that troll smirk on his face when he's talking sometimes. And people fall for it every single time.

How is what he does any different from being a "reality" tv star?

You and other people take these guys way too seriously.

pretty dead on IMO save for maybe Flacco (he's top 6 or 7 or so IMO). There is so little between the top guys. Just having a little bit better protection from the Oline, or a timely defense can mean the difference between between the best and 5th. People talk shite about Brees throwing 20 picks. A lot of these elite qbs would throw 20 picks if their defense was a revolving door and they had to keep chucking to win the games...its not like throwing 40+TD passes and 5k yards is something any qb in the NFL can just go out and do on an annual basis. If I were starting a team tomorrow and couldn't have Rodgers, I'd want Wilson. Dude just has it.

it's not that I fall for his dumbass routine; it's because he knows what he's doing and is just a sell out.

I honestly probably wouldn't hate him as much if he believed everything he said, but all he does is say dumbass shite to get a rise out of people.

His top 5 quarterbacks are as follows:

1. Flacco
2. Rodgers
3. Brady
4. Roethlisberger
5. Ryan

You'll have to forgive Hoge - too many concussions make any top five list he generates the equivalent of a random number generator

People on the board that he didn't choose:

Griffin III
Luck
Kaepernick
Eli
Peyton

When asked if this makes Flacco the best QB in the league, Hoge said "without a question. He's proved it, he's earned it..."

Of course Flacco is better than RG3, Luck, and Kaepernick.

As for Eli, I'm not so sure. Eli can be pretty incredible.

Now, Peyton. *Sigh* Guys, Flacco has as many postseason wins and a ring just like Peyton.

I know it is considered blasphemy to not call Peyton the best QB in the league or the GOAT, but the numbers are the numbers.

Just because Flacco doesn't wow you or make dummy audibles at the line of scrimmage doesn't mean he is not an elite QB.

I'd put Brees at #1. Give him Rodger's/Peyton's line etc and he'd throw for over 50 TDs a season

Do what? Rodgers has literally the worst pass blocking line in the league.
