ESPN will fire Mel Kiper in the next few weeks

Why would they fire him? Considering how many people are talking about him and the whole Sanders situation, it seems like he did his job admirably.

Wow It was bad day one and that was about how I expected it to go the longer he went without getting drafted. Reece was clearly sick of it.

He's not even trying to hide his unprofessionalism anymore.

Yeah you can't take any of people that bring that kind of stuff up in sport seriously, especially the NFL.

Although I'm going to go out on a limb and say that ESPN probably loved it, and even encouraged it.

Look at how many threads MSB had on the topic Good pub all around and got people talking about it.

They got Myles Garrett a ton of help. That defense will be nasty next year.

Got a clip of that one

Probably on Youtube somewhere. My favorite part was when he said the Nfl teams don’t know what they’re doing in evaluating quarterbacks.

Btw I also watched Nfl network and was checking things out online. Only flipped over to Abc to see what all the “Kiper” fuss was about

I mean odds are he is going to be sitting behind Dillon Gabriel.

I don’t think so. I love Gabriel as a college QB. But I don’t think he can be start in the NFL.

I mean the Giants last QB was Daniel Jones and you're just gonna assume they know what they're doing? These are millionaire PE coaches, not rhodes scholars.

Sanders is about to be the number 1 topic on ESPN for the next year. It going to be Tebow 2.0.

"up next on first take, is Sanders ready to take over the starting job"

This above all else, is probably why he went where he did. The media is going to eat this shite up

I was shocked Kiper could get so emotional with all of the obvious Botox he was on.

I believe we will look back on this pick in a few years and question what the rest of the NFL was doing.

The Browns are the Browns and will always be the Browm. They are a garbage franchise in a garbage city. Sanders is just another log on the dumpster fire. Rinse and repeat

I want to believe this is some ratings ploy. But the multiple people who have been on ESPN, past or present, are as outrageous and annoying and it gets eyeballs on the shows for some.

Throw the kid out there starting with the first game.

He will either live up to Mel's hype or sink and never be heard from again.

Let's see if his arse can cash the check that his mouth is writing.

Honestly, Sanders is a decent pick for the 5th round. If he doesn’t work out just cut him.
