All you need to watch is the LSU tape to question dart. Any NFL QB should have been able to carve up LSUs shite safeties

He did in 2023 and 2024. Recall in '24, Tre Harris dropped a wide open would-be TD in the first quarter and there were other key third down drops too.

There’s a lot to like about Dart when he’s playing well, but those WTF moments are hard to overlook.

His completion %, TDs, and yards per attempt and completion all increased for three straight seasons. He keeps improving, but again, those bad moments really stick out.

If you don’t have a qb you don’t have a chance of seriously competing. I don’t mind the Saints taking a chance on a guy like Dart. A good qb can mask a crappy roster. Look at Washington last year.

But at 9?

Kiper has him at 9 to the Saints.

Please take him, I don't want him anywhere near the Steelers.

He's still going to be over-drafted regardless.

Dart is capable but a 1st round grade is very bold.

NFL GMs can be stupid, but sometimes desperate times call for desperate measures

Honest question cause I didn’t watch enough of these guys, is Dart that much below Ward/Sanders as a prospect?

Sound like you really know your QB prospects.

This just shows it is not a good class.

However, I have no idea why Will Howard isn't in that 105-120 range. He outplayed Ewers and Gabriel in the playoffs, replaced McCord as the QB for OSU, and then played really really good football in the playoffs. Also, he's 6'4, 240 lbs

If you want to see him play the best competition, turn on the playoff games.

Tenn: 24/29, 311 yards, 2TDs/1 INT
Oregon: 17/26, 319 yards, 3 TDs/0 INT
Texas: 24/33, 289 yards, 1 TD/1 INT
ND: 17/21, 231 yards, 2TDs/ 0 INTs

OSU was up big in 3 of those 4 games and he did almost all his damage before the 4th quarter in those 3.

I guess I would take him in the 3rd or 4th over guys like McCord and Milroe (for sure over Milroe

I think it has to do with his ceiling and raw abilities. While Howard was a great college back, his skill set is apparently much more suited to the college game according to these NFL team, similar to Leonard at ND.

But he's behind Milroe who wasn't even suited to be a good college QB

No argument from me on this one. I’m just saying what people have said.

The thing with Milroe is he’s got a cannon (but no touch) and elite speed on designed runs (but no real pocket presence/scramble ability) according to some of the things I’ve read.

Some NFL guys believe they can “fix” him with his raw tools. I have no idea why GM’s continue down this road, but that’s what people are spouting.

Didn't Howard have one of the worst throwing days at the combine in history

He was 24/42 against LSU in 24 and took 6 sacks + a horrific INT. Ole Miss’ offense in general was pretty MIA the entire second half. A lot of that was on kiffen, they didn’t run the ball bad but every run call was a gift to LSU.

23 doesn’t matter cause that defense was such arse

I didn't watch it, but it was allegedly up and down.

It'll be interesting to see how he does at Ohio State pro day with his guys.

His medium range throws were nearly all right on the money this year. He's very accurate.on non-deep balls.

Whyyyyy?
You’ve got Carr and Rattler to play with. Draft a position of need…. Which is everything but QB.

Draft QB next year where you can get a quality guy mid 1st round or 2nd.
