And it hasn't even had its first event yet.

First Allen, now McKinney. For all those rich folks up there you think they would find better architects, engineers, and/or constructors.

ISD are public funds so its open for low bid.

No surprise.

Concrete cracks by its nature. It seems the issue here is that they are trying to determine who will absorb the cost of the topping repairs. I’m sure the GC is adamant that they followed the specifications and is requesting the ISD to absorb the costs to remedy the cracking. The ISD doesn’t want to approve the repairs, thus the standoff.

The people in charge of any ISD are basically PTA parents on steroids.

I'd rather drag my nuts through honey and do naked snow angels in front of a hibernating bears den at snowbreak than deal with those imbeciles.

Good point. They get football (Americanized rugby) and futbol (soccer) teams to build stadiums and let the HS teams use them. Knowing they won't fall apart.

Naw, baw. The stadium is in Texas, so clearly nothing can possibly be wrong.

Does not surprise me one bit that those idiots over there can’t build anything correctly.

Exactly. If proper steel reinforcement was put in place (and it would have been to pass inspections along the way), then this shouldnt be a big deal

New Orleans has not been celebrated for infrastructure or building techniques for a very long time, unlike Tejas.
