That’s because they are cowards and were crossing their cowardly fingers that FSU would lose so nobody would be mad at them. Only reason I can think of, because you are 100% correct, they should have dropped them weeks ago.

The reason is because it has never, ever been based solely on “who’s best”.

You obviously don’t know who has been running the world for thousands of years. It’s going to be a hell of an eye opening experience real soon for many of you.

Here’s a question for all the folks lobbying for FL St. Off this website and in the real world, if you had to bet your house on the winner of FS vs Alabama, would you bet FS, straight up? If you say “yes” you either don’t own a home or you’re too dumb to keep it for long.

Just because I believe FSU earned a spot in the playoff doesn’t mean I am of the participation trophy way of thinking. They won every game on the schedule, that’s more than participating, that’s kicking arse. And I see the injured QB situation differently than most I guess. I see it as another feather in the FSU cap. To have the character to overcome the loss of such a key player only further demonstrates the toughness and determination of their team. But really, come on, someone can have a different view than you and not be a participation trophy mentality.

Then why not drop them from 4 the Sunday after Travis got hurt?

Why keep them there for 3 weeks and then after they go undefeated and win their conference decide to penalize them then?

The fix was in the moment that Travis went out and FSU began to flounder a bit. The committee didn't just want an SEC team in. If that had been the case, they could've just dropped UGA to the #4 spot. Somebody wanted Bama in, but they had to wait until Bama beat UGA to make the move. That's why they waited so late to pull the switch.

nope. Told them this more deserving participation trophy logic doesn't exist in the real world. The sooner the participation trophy generation realizes this, the quicker they will stop being disappointed in life.

This makes absolutely no sense. Participation trophies aren’t given to teams that go undefeated. What were they supposed to do, lose? Kid deserved a chance at least. They basically said hey we don’t like your QB, bye.

If it were really about the best teams UGA or Ohio State or both would be ahead of Washington. It’s not solely about the best teams and anyone who uses that argument is a moron. They won over a conference rival with a 2nd string and championship with 3, with 2 coming back.

It’s fine. FSU likely wouldn’t win a playoff game, but don’t tell me it’s the best teams if Washington is in there. FSU might as well have quit the season.

If Milroe tears an ACL Saturday night is Bama still in?

You think Georgia being behind Florida St is right? If the reason is because of the starting QB being hurt, then they should have pushed them out of the top four two weeks ago. Waiting until after they clinch the championship and finish undefeated is bullshite. All to pander go Bama.

So why bother even playing the games? FWIW yeah, FSU would probably lose to whoever they played but the point is that they deserve to at least have the opportunity to be in the playoff based on everything they accomplished this season. To me this looks like the committee telling fans that what a team looks like on paper is just as important as their actual record on the field.

Honestly. Probably because the rankings are irrelevant outside of the last release. But they should’ve dropped them.

You’re right it’s not favoritism to the SEC. It’s favoritism to Bama. Every single example of “SEC bias” includes Alabama being given a shot they didn’t earn.

Except in literally EVERY sport in the history of sports.

You’re too goddamn stupid to even realize just how goddamn stupid you are. “Best” is the “participation trophy,” “most deserving is the exact opposite. How are you too butt fricking stupid to realize just how butt fricking stupid you are?

I love how some red pill tards have seized on this analogy and act like they have some “mic drop”. How is winning all your games a “participation”
trophy? Putting teams in regardless of results is closer to a “participation” trophy.

It's 4 best teams, not most deserving teams.

By best you mean “in your opinion”. Define best. Deserving is based on what happened on the field not opinion
