Scottie left there with the quickness

He looked pissed to be sitting there.

It's time for one of the strangest moments in sports every year where CBS zooms in way too far on the winner’s face and awkwardly holds the shot for 20 seconds too long to end the broadcast.

Only five seconds today

I honestly thought I saw Scottie try to wrinkle the jacket while standing up before unfolding it to put it on McIlroy

I've never seen a more out of place person than Rory on that grand slam list with Jack, Hogan, Player, and Tiger
The guy had five majors by the time he was 25. The last 10 years were lackluster but he was certainly a generational talent. There aren’t many people not named Tiger Woods that I’ve seen make shots like that 7 iron on the 15th hole.

So, bangers (no Tiger Woods jokes please) and mash at the champion's dinner next year?

So clearly ALL mental for more than a decade. If he can rid himself of that, he has 40 legit chances left at majors. Phil was able to shed his reputation. If Rory can do it, I’ll be the first to tip my cap. I though his mental would haunt him the rest of his career

You know Rose was gutted, but he also appreciates the history being made.

Class act as always. Would’ve been just as happy with Rose winning today

Give Nantz a break.

He’s still coping with his alma mater’s basketball game finish.

On one hand this board calls him a pretentious douche but on the other hand let’s not mention that he’s a poor kid who’s parents worked double shifts at bars and factories so their kid could become a pro. It’s a cool story and I like it. Not even a giant Rory fan (not really one at all)

The guy 1000% brings it on himself because he can't keep his trap shut and acts like a douche.

He's an extremely talented player, but we don't have to deify him as something he's not.

All I’ll say is the guy crushed gold tops with Lowry and fans at the 19th green bar singing with the band and interacted with fans.

I think those calling him pretentious are talking out of their asses

Edit: This was after the Zurich win
