Have you watched the NBA celebrity basketball games? There are WNBA players that play in it and they are owned by a out of shape 50 year old former NBA players.

You should take up remedial reading if you're going to respond to my posts in the future.

That's self-evident.
Let me break in down in three parts and maybe your mommy can explain it to you:
quote:
All women's basketball players would be humiliated if they had to play against a decent college team
Go that?
quote:
but the post players would get humiliated a lot worse than the backcourt players
Go that?
quote:
At least with point guards, the size and strength advantage doesn't play as huge a factor
Got that?

Women aren't good at anything athletically, so this isn't even really worth discussing.

it's an interesting debate
griner at least has the advantage of the charge, while i pity the female who tries to guard a westbrook/rose
and the guards would just post up the women

With zone defenses, female points guards would be a lot less of a liability than centers, otherwise Mugsy Bogues would have never got on the court. On the other hand, if a men's team had to count on Griner being their enforcer down low, their opponent's center would score at will.
The less an athletic activity relies on speed, size and strength, the smaller the gender gap. It's why Danica Patrick can be competive at the highest level of auto racing, a sport that puts a premium on hand-eye coordination but nothing else.

If Cuban said this he's clearly trolling.

They only position I can ever see a woman being able to play in the NBA is a guard and we are a long way from that happening

Meyers got signed to a $50,000 guaranteed contract in 1979, the same year Moses Malone became the first player to make $1 million. I doubt very seriously that Cuban will sign Griner to a contract that matches Mayers' contract in dollars adjusted for inflation, or 1/20th the salary of today's highest paid player.

At this point, just sign him. Dwight isn't coming so might as well get a fake tranny Dwight

Of all the women who I have watched, I think Delle Donne would be the one who could play best against men. She is 6'5" but can actually play guard. Grinder on the other hand is 6'8" but could be posted up by any college player who is 190 pounds and has coordination. This includes a 6'3" guard if he has ever worked on a basic post game.
Don't think Griner could do anything beyond the high school level. Delle Donne might be a decent college back-up though in a mid major.
