Great hand eye coordination and short distance power from manny, can see why he's a great hitter. Looks like he doesn't even hit him but ventura gets rocked a bit.

He'd already been thrown at once unsuccessfully earlier, hard to blame him for going after Ventura. It was clearly intentional.

I'm not defending Ventura. He's an immature jackass. But Machado has a similar history. I'm sure they were both to blame for this.
ETA: from what I understand Ventura was pitching him inside in the 2nd inning and Machado took exception to it and mouthed off to Ventura, which Ventura decided to bean him for. I think both deserve some blame.

The punch clearly didn't connect directly, but it connected. He felt the punch for sure aND that's all that really matters. Ventdouuche will be a little sore tomorrow.
