That's my GOAT 3B turned SS.

Ventura just hit Machado and Machado rushed the mound and punched him in the face. They were jawing at each other in the second inning after Ventura nearly hit him twice.

He got him pretty good, not as straightforward as Odor, good shot though

Manny took issue with Ventura going inside earlier in the game. Stepped out of the box and glared at him. When he flied out he jawed at Ventura. Next time up Ventura hits him.

Dude got him better than Odor. He actually made his knees buckle and Ventura had to clinch to keep him from falling down.

I first thought he punched Robin Ventura, which would have been incredible.

He first put Robin Ventura in the thread that's why I was confused. Would've been awesome though. I think Robin Ventura has probably avoided all baseball fights since about 1993

Here we go with the defense of stupid unwritten rules and codes. MLB needs to drop the hammer on fights. "But, you don't understand the game." "This is how the sport polices itself."

Do the people that think baseball is slow and boring also feel they should deter fights? I'm just curious where these groups align

Ventura's head looked like it snapped around pretty good, nowhere near how solid Odor caught Bautista though. I just thought Machado dropping the bat and squaring up was hilarious.
