They are just doing what fans do, it's pretty obvious that Manning did not secure the record and there is video to back it up. Now reports show that the NFL is reviewing it.
It can't be fuel to a fire if the adjustments of stats happen on a regualr basis, this just happens to be for a record.
In all liklihood the NFL would have discovered it anyway.

I want the NFL to review every completed pass that Brees threw when he set the record. We have to make sure the record is accurate.

Already been done. All games are reviewed in order to straighten out all the stats. These adjustments are not anything new, it is not uncommon for sacks, tackles, rushing yards, receving yards and so on to be adjusted after a game is completed. this just happens to determine a record.

So why is this a story then if the NFL does this on the reg? Seems that there wouldn't need to be this "push" to get this changed if that was the case.
And I still want Brees' season reviewed.
As well as all of Peyton's passes this season.
We need that accuracy.
