For funsies take a look at the number of points given up by the Packers D in their playoff losses under AARod...
2010 vs Cards - 51
2012 vs Giants - 37
2013 vs 49ers - 45
2015 vs Seahawks - 28
2016 vs Cards - 26
2017 vs Falcons - 44
Before this season's playoff games were played (where Rodgers played well), his playoff stats were:
I mean, come the frick on. The fact that Capers still has a job is beyond me.

Eff him. And he's given up those points in the playoffs despite the packers essentially throwing every single draft pick against the D for the last four years.

You have to make the playoffs and stay healthy to qualify.

Or when opponent's offense make the worst play calls in NFL history
Need a first down to ice the Rose Bowl? Take Reggie Bush off the field so the sips know it's going to LenDale.
About to score the Super Bowl winning touchdown? Don't give it to Beast Mode so he either scores or keeps the clock tunning. Throw the ball and let it get bobbled into the defender's hands.

Here is the scoring offense rankings
As you suspect, the part of the team these guys actually control, is extremely close

Where Brady's 2008 and Peyton's 2011 numbers?
Brees and Rodgers never took a year off...

Should Brady be punished because his teams' defenses are better? Should we value his wins any less? No.

His ball-control death by a thousand cuts style protects his defense.

In theory you can argue the shittier the defense, the more drives the offense can have in a game.
