You're the one using stats only like you don't even watch the games.

Brady was starting playoff games when he first came into the league. Brees was in his prime when he made the playoffs. That can't be held against Brady.
So, we should not count Brady's first 3 playoff appearances to be fair?
quote:
Also the whole Brady has played over 3x the amount of playoff games
Gee, i wonder if the quality of his defense was related?
quote:
Brees played v garbage defenses for the most part. Brady going up against the all time greats in ravens and broncos.
The Broncos last year were great, but Brady did not play the 2000 Ravens. Their other D's may have been good, but not on that level, what do you have to back up your claim about Brees playing "garbage" defenses? In 2006 the Saints played the Eagles #16 and Bears #3. In 2009 Az 15, Minn 10 and Indy 8 (As a side note that's 3 HOF QB's)
In 10 Sea was 23, 11 SF was #2. 13 Philly #17 and Sea #1. Side note Carolina from "garbage" division was #2.

In Drew's 10 playoff games:
60% against top 10 scoring defense
40% against top 5 scoring defenses
80% against top 15 scoring defenses
10% against defenses ranked 20 or worse (like the Falcons)

quote:You pick the 5 year peak of Brady's playoff career, we'll compare them to Brees's entire playoff career.
If you take one players peak. And compare It to another players whole career. The results will be skewed
Go!!

Nope. Don't really care to do that. Qb rating doesn't tell me anything without context and I already got all the context I need.

There has been plenty of context provided to you in this thread.
You've just got your head so far up your arse that you can't see it. Hell of a view from your "eye test".

Matt Ryan has been pretty exceptional in the playoffs. He was great in the Super Bowl as well.

Brady's birthday is August 3, 1977. He turned 28 on 8/3/05. He started SB XXXVI, XXXVIII and XXXIX, Super Bowl XXXIX was played on February 6, 2005. So that's 9 playoff starts before 28.

The only people who don't believe in eye test are those who have a Shitty one. I.e. Guys like you who have to lean way too heavily on stats bc you don't really know and understand the game.
