Higher %, more yards, more tds, less ints per game

Brady is the GOAT. Brees is the NFL equivalent to a Texas Tech QB. He only puts up gaudy #s because He has to. He was an average QB until he got NO. He benefitted from playing in a garbage division,a dome, and an air raid offense. NOs focused on defense it just never got time to rest because they were on the field all the time

This man is really comparing Cody Kessler to Drew Brees

Posted on 2/9/17 at 10:48 am to TJGator1215
Yep. Look I love looking at the numbers but holy smokes some posters here have no sense of context. Matty Ryan > Brees tho by their metrics win some lose some I reckon.

Compared to what? The AFC East
In case you missed it, the last 2 SB reps from the NFC were from Brees division

Jets/Dolphins/Bills have cleared had so much more success than TB/ATL/CAR these last 10-15 seasons.

I love how shel and 87 have been straight up dominating this thread with 20 pages of facts and stats that prove their case, then a complete moron like you comes in and spouts unsubstantiated shite that goes against everything that can be proven. That's just amazing.

I'll give you that Brees > Brady. If you use the same stats to say that Ryan > Brees.
¿That work for you?

Yes by your 'I'll only look at the numbers at not sue my brain" way of deciding things.
Passer rating
YPA
Completion %
Etc
Etc
All lean Ryan.

If you use the same stats to say that Ryan > Brees.
Brees leads Brady in completion %, tds, ints, rating, and yards.
Ryan leads Brees in completion % and rating, but Brees leads in yards, and ints
Tied in tds

If NE missed that last 2pt conversion, would Ryan's numbers then be validated since they'd both have 1 ring?

if you are willing to admit they are even I'll take it.

So you'll concede playoff Brees has played the position of QB better than playoff Brady?

Higher rating, but
18 TDs to 7 INTs
280.5 YPG
68.1 comp % (very good)
3-5 record
Brees:
24 TDs to 6 INTs
321.7 YPG
65.9 comp %
6-5 record
Let's not forget Atlanta scoring 2 points against the Giants, which Ryan obviously had nothing to do with. That would never happen with Brees
