Man what the hell has happened to Virginia Tech?

They're currently losing to Marshall 24-10 which would be their 3rd straight loss. Last year they were 3-8 in a season that featured a loss to Old Dominion and a 7 game losing streak.

They’ve lost to OD a few times. Keep making dumb hires. I assume they will try and poach Beamer after this latest disaster is fired.

Well Fuente ruined them. Now they have a guy who had zero head coaching experience. They are going to have some bumps in the road

He seemed to alienate fan base and boosters and doesn’t like to Recruit or put effort into recruiting and he doesn’t exactly have a welcoming personality

Football in VA this year is beyond terrible. UVA will go 1-11/0-12 and Tech is not much better.

That program blows outside of Beamer’s run.
He recruited the shite out of Virginia, always had stud running backs and even some good QBs outside of the Vick brothers, had studs on defense. Those days are gone.

Why does Va Tech continue to schedule road games at nearby smaller schools? Lost at ODU in 2018 and last year and now this. Went to ECU in 2017 but beat the shite out of them.

Not only that, BOTH coordinators have no experience as OC or DC either. What a bunch of idiots to hire a completely green staff.
