Made a $10 bet on the Buccaneers to win super bowl 54

Pay out is $1000 dollars. How smart or dumb was this of me? I really feel like Winston has a break out year under Arians. He made big Ben, luck and Palmer into all pros

If you wanted to give away $10 you could have donated it to Samaritan's Purse and helped people in The Bahamas. Would have done a lot more good.

A couple of years ago, before Winston’s rookie season - I bet on the Bucs to win the Super Bowl as well. I put $1,500 on it at I think 200/1 odds.
I was fresh out of college and living at home the first year because I was unsure if I wanted to stay at the CPA firm I was working at. Made a decent salary and had basically no expenses, I wasted so much money on dumb shite like this
. My thought process was that they had just drafted Winston, had tons of cap space. I was hoping they’d add some FA and I was super high on Winston, wanted him to have an Andrew Luck type emergence and lead his team to playoffs as a rookie in what at the time was the worst division (a 7 win team won the division the year prior, maybe Carolina. Can’t remember) and I’d hedge from there.
Didn’t work out - Bucs won 6 games and the division ended up being a lot better, Panthers won 15 games.
Better luck to you hopefully

Considering I made a $50 bet on the Saints and it pays the same, i'd say yours was a bad investment.
