the only reason this is happening to this young man WHO SHOULD BE making millions in the majors is that he sexually molested his 4 year old cousin

He is a convicted felon. But does that mean he should NEVER be able to be employed again? Or is that just limited to professional baseball?
I’ve hired quite a few people with sketchy pasts but I also don’t have 1000 reporters banging on my door when I do. It’s not just about the crime it’s the circus that is going to follow him everywhere.

Nobody is saying Luke Heimlich shouldn't be able to live his life in a different career field. He just shouldn't have the privilege of playing professional baseball.

You're calling him a child molester like he did this when he was 40.
Legally, he was a child too. So if he did anything it was a juvenile incident which shouldn't have the same impact as wrongdoing by an adult.

He shouldn't of had the privilege to get a scholarship to play baseball and to get a free degree.

Pretty sure this and rape/murder are the exception. It's not like he shot out a guys window with a bb gun.

THANK YOU and now that juvenile record is expunged, that's all I've been saying this entire time but the pitchfork people can't separate facts from fantasy

Kids are tried as adults all the time. He was 15 for Christ sakes. Not a little kid whom had no idea. Most of us, well , were having sex at that age with people our own age. Not finger diddling a family member whom was 4.

You really need someone to justify your own mistakes as a 15 year old I take it?

It can be truly frightening. The Rant was mob mentality ground zero during the regional.

This is one of the many moronic aspects of our criminal justice system IMO

You’re right. A teenager doesn’t know that fingering a 4 year old is wrong. How silly of me.

You know what else is frightening? When you have a 4 year old daughter and your little brother can’t keep his disgusting hands out of her pants.
Y’all are fricked in the head.

the biggest bullshite in the history of sports, the only reason this is happening to this young man WHO SHOULD BE making millions in the majors is a clerical error by the Oregon state police, I do not feel well for Heimlich
Bro......yikes

Since his conviction came to light, Heimlich has insisted that he is innocent, and took poor legal advice in the name of simplifying matters for his family.
I don't care how simple it made it for my family, there is zero way I would ever falsely admit to molesting a young child.

Protip: Just because someone pleads doesn't mean they're guilty. Do you even Brian Banks, bro?

should not have made this situation a death sentence for a likely lucrative MLB career
Every MLB team passed on him. Twice. Obviously there's more to the story than you present.
And there's no such thing as a "likely lucrative MLB career." He would have been drafted but would have gone to rookie ball and had to work his way up - making nothing.
