I much rather watch at home on my big screen over paying $100 for a ticketexchange ticket in the nose bleeds where I have to get up every 5 seconds for someone to go to the bathroom while being stuffed like a sardine. Concessions are absolutely absurd too.

should have signed up for season tickets when your team sucked

What does paid too much mean? Who should get the money then, the owners? Or do you navie fools think that if tickets were lower priced demand would not skyrocket and the ticket scalpers would simply charge more (as it is, most tickets are UNDER priced, that's why there is a secondary market). And who should get all the money for advertising and TV rights if the players are paid too much?
The salary cap is directly tied to the television revenue, and has been for quite some time now.
Thus, ticket prices have NOTHING to do with player salaries in the NFL.

If I'm bitching about paying $100 on ticketexchange don't you think I'd be bitching even more paying for 4 pre-season games full-price?

Attendance may be a problem, but ticket sales aren't. Why drop your ticket prices when you sellout 95% of your seats and 90% of the unsold tickets are in your cheapest seats?
Selling the cheap seats and getting people to show up after they buy the cheap seats is pretty low down on the owners worry list. Anyone who blames Goddell for this is just an idiot. He doesn't set ticket prices for teams. He only controls what goes on on the field during play and it's not like he creates and sets the rules on his own accord in that capacity either.
One thing I think could help is the elimination of alcohol sales, but that's for a longer post.

you know its funny, the attendance is low in the NFL and people bitch about CFB having too many bowl games. The overall bowl attendance is a joke though. But I thought everybody loves football right? lol. If you love a sport or a team enough, you'll make some trips to their games. If not, I guess you are less of a fan? Who fricking knows.
