Schedules like that should be an automatic one loss and you’re out for the committee. That’s pathetic.

TV money will be hard to argue against although is this the last year of the current playoff format?

Notre Dame's SOS has been pretty good the last several years, despite what people on tRant seem to think (no I am not a Notre Dame fan, just the opposite but facts are facts)

Sept. 2 East Carolina FBS AAC 8-5
Sept. 9 UNLV FBS Mountain West 5-7
Sept. 16 Bowling Green FBS MAC 6-7

As for Michigan's OOC schedule, They play 9 B1G games. LSU plays 8 SEC games and their OOC schedule other than FSU is pretty weak as well.

Grambling (FCS SWAC 3-8)
Army (FBS Ind 6-6)
Georgia State (FBS Sunbelt 4-8)

This is what P5 teams in stronger conferences do.

Now compare LSU’s conference with Mich/OSU’s conference

What an absolutely ignorant thing to say

What I was saying is, Michigan is going to waste a playoff spot against this year. ND and Oklahoma usually waste spots

Remember when they go upset by Appy State? So there is still hope they get beat outside of the Big Ten.

I would say their schedule is not as weak as people think. Ohio State and Penn State can beat them and Michigan State will play them tough and in that game maybe there will be some cheap shots that hurts UM down the road.

A 9-3 UM is just as possible as a 12-0 UM.
