I wouldn't call 1-1 struggling especially in a loss vs the top pitcher in baseball.

Yeah, I feel like the Dodgers are burning the candle at both ends with Kershaw and the Cubs will blow it open in the next couple of games. I also feel like a similar thing will happen with Cleveland running out of gas against the Cubs due to their lack of starters. Cleveland does have that scrappy mojo/chemistry vibe like KC of the last two years, though.

I’d probably give Cleveland the highest odds of winning the title of any team left (just because they are the most likely to get there), but have them as a small dog to whoever the NL pennant winner is.

Klubber will have to pitch on 3 days rest here on out and and go very deep, and win, for this deleted starting rotation and pen to hold up. But I am a Believer!!

If he gets the win today, he won't pitch again for a full week. So that will help. I also think Bauer will bounce back and pitch well in the world series. Trying to rush him back last night was ridiculous.

Also - are we sure Salazar won't go in the WS?

If Cleveland wins and the Cubs lose today, then Cleveland has a shot in the World Series. Today is the last day where the Cubs can be stopped from winning the world series.

If the Cubs face the Indians in the World Series, I think everyone realizes that the series will be cancelled for a strike or a natural disaster or something. There's too much history to prevent an outcome.

A buddy of mine just told me yesterday of how much he thinks the Indians remind him of the 05 Red Sox. As long as Cleveland or LA win, I'll be happy.

Anyone but the Cubs.

All their fake fans who wear their hats and pull for them because they're the "lovable cubs"... they can dwell in disappointment.

The team that finished second in the AL East and were swept in the division round?

I am pretty sure the Cleveland fans sold the Browns soul to the devil to get a nba championship and a shot at the world series crown

Great run for Cleveland fan. Nba championship in June pennant race for the summer and now a World Series

And now the NBA just started again. They can just ignore the Browns

Championship or game? Both seem depressingly unlikely.
