No, just know a lot of them from my involvement with lil perms travel ball scene. They are older but we’ve played against a handful of them. Good kids.

Beat VA to get a one game US championship against Hawaii. Win that and get a one game championship against the international winner.

Not sure. I was blown away by Prather yesterday. He was popping the mit.

I think their ace can pitch today. If so it will be great for Louisiana. They faced New Jersey's ace last night and it didn't affect them. The ump on first base tried to affect them but he couldn't even stand in the way.

In the SW series on the Longhorn network every time La's ace pitched they had a speed gun like the pros. He was averaging 92 miles per hour pro-rated for distance with a high of 94-95.

I had recorded the championship game of the SW and went back during the start of the LLWS and can tell you that the team La beat for the championship had a better pitcher than any team in the LLWS besides La's. And he had a hot mother too. But both pitchers were POPPING the catcher's mit like crazy.

I think they start their ace, Marshall. They’ll see how it goes to see if they can pull him for a possible game Saturday or ride it out the whole game. Egan Prather is burnt. They have Conner Perot who throws stiff but has had some trouble with the strike zone. You may also see Will Andrade out there. Derek can also pitch but he’s more of a change of pace off speed guy. He’s the 2nd baseman. I mean they have pitching but none besides Marshall and Egan are dominating.

As is every other pitcher playing in this tournament. Its like you forget that the kid is only 12 (maybe just turned 13?)

no I didnt..and 12-13 year old kids should not be playing 46/60 at that age....some of them will be playing 60/90 in just a few months

Agreed. Them playing 46/60 at this age was solely to look better on TV. They should 50/70 for 11/12 and play open bases.

A kid throwing 75 from 46 is the equivalent to a 98.6 mph fastball as far as reaction time from 46 feet.

ETA: I'm coaching a team for fall ball in a Little League controlled league for ages 11-13. We're playing 50/70 and open. So why don't they in the WS for the same age groups?

I’d say they should be playing 54/80. But yeah at least 50/70

Books dont have a clue on this. But LA has the better SP going tonight and has looked great since the Hawaii loss.

You could argue Virginia has had the easier path so far which is why I think LA should be -150 or so
