It's worth mentioning that the Bills could do nothing wrong offensively for 3 quarters last week, then just imploded in the 4th quarter, too.

It's simple:

The Lions woke up and realized they're the Lions and have no business being in the Super Bowl.

Each play isn’t scripted. They got the call to throw the game so SF, the NFL money maker, gets to the SB. It’s so obvious they’re throwing the game. That’s not hard to do, just simply don’t execute

The problem with your unfathomable stupidity is that this game changed on the crazy deflection/catch by Aiyuk. You think they scripted that incredibly lucky bounce off of the DB's helmet? This isn't a movie where they get multiple takes to get it right.

Tipped pass, fumble, dropped pass, bad punt coverage.

The amount of shite that went wrong for the Lions after the failed 4th down

-dropped INT that led to 50 yard completion
-fumble on opening carry
-dropping a first down pass on next drive
- not downing the ball at the 1 and getting a touchback
-not getting an easy sack and then giving up a first down pass to extend the drive now into the 4th Q

Jeez

This complete 180 of momentum is wild. 49ers can do no wrong.

It’s actually evidence of why momentum is hogwash. 49ers should be dead if momentum was so strong.

when Eminem and Kendra Lust are the two biggest celebrities representing your franchise.... you're pretty much guaranteed to fail.

I’ve never seen a team frick up basically every play after kicking so much arse earlier.

They were riding high on emotions

The tide almost flipped in the 1st half before that lucky INT

Exactly.

Franchises have a mentality no matter who the players are. 49ers have been to 7 Super Bowls and the Lions none. Inferiority complex and catastrophe syndrome sets in easily for the loser franchise. I know this because the Saints are the Lions.
