There are a lot of stadiums in Louisiana without a press box on the visitor’s side.

AA Week 9 by chalmetteowlI predict we’re going to see a lot less visiting coaches in the home press box in the near future… wonder if their headsets require to be plugged in. There’s probably wireless battery headsets now.
No what you’re going to see is additional communications and in PAC meeting regarding unsportsmanlike behavior and how it will be handled as soon as it happens.
I was reminded today of a game I was at in 1998 in which the HOME coaches were removed from press box for being reprimanded for using video replay during game(then illegal) then UNS for their treatment of clock officials.
But we waited till halftime to address the issue.
Bottom line behaving like grownups goes a long way.

One of Winnfield's starting RBs is at the National FFA convention this week. There was a thought he might be back in time to play but he made the semifinals in his event and will be there until Sunday. Small town football struggle is real.

Couldn't happen to a nicer school.

You’re right. That does sound better.
For those interested:
17-0 Dutchtown at half
Dutchtown gets the ball after half and chews up 8 minutes off the clock, ending in an interception in the end zone on a failed jump pass.
DSHS gets the ball and has to punt.
Both teams trade possessions, taking us into the 4th
After a 3 & out, a DSHS pass on a go route up the sideline scores. 17-7 D’Town.
Failed onside kick by DSHS.
4th and long punting situation for D’Town. Snap over the head. DSHS recovers at the Dutchtown 7. They score 3 plays later. 17-14. 6 minutes left in the 4th.
Dutchtown drives but stalls out, tossing an incomplete pass on 4th & 11. DSHS takes over at their own 30 with about 2:15 left in the game.
DSHS drives down in their 2 minute offense, ending with a TD despite defensive holding. 21-17 DSHS with right around a minute left.
Failed onside kick (def holding enforced on the kickoff). Dutchtown recovers.
Dutchtown converts a 4th & 19 with the game on the line. They would then go 4 & out ending in an interception that was almost run all the way back as time expired.

Jena beats Caldwell 44-22 and secured the district 2-3A title in non-select 3

West Feliciana 55 - Broadmoor 8. WF is 9-0. Final game is @ Plaquemine next Friday and Plaquemine is likely to be 9-0. For the district championship and a likely first round bye.

Having two press boxes isn’t the answer. Not have degenerates for coaches is the answer.

Benton 22- shreve 21
I didn’t know this till now . Benton beat airline 72-71 this year and also beat Byrd by 30+
I’m wondering if they may have a team this year that can make some playoff noise

Negative, they lost to Airline 75-59 and 14-21 of their points came in the last six minutes when the game was already gone and the offense was running the twos. Shreve has also been a disappointment this year, nearly lost to Southwood who hasn't won a game in nearly three years. You may be thinking of Haughton whom they beat 78-71 but they most assuredly did not beat Airline. Airline will be undefeated district Champs next week as they play Southwood for their senior night.

very clear message was sent.
also in most press boxes eco's and pa announcer are in a separate room from coaches and can't always hear coaches, but there is a way to deal with them when it's heard.
