Bunkie 60-0 over Vidalia.

76 meeting between Bunkie and Marksville Thursday night in Bunkie do the Catskin. This is the first time in forever that both teams are playing good ball. Both are 8-1.

That probably isn’t a huge upset, but man it sure does feel like it. West Monroe has been the talk of the town this year, all they’ve done is win big game after big game. Meanwhile Neville has had some close call losses recently, including in the semis last year. Gut-wrenching chokes at the very end, just haven’t been able to close out the big one. I don’t know how anyone would have had the confidence to pick Neville to win this one

Damn, I didn't think this game would be close. Cecilia probably got a big head after their last 3 blow out wins.

Neville should.be 9-1. They dominated Ruston...except for 7 minutes...and they dominated St. Thomas Moore except for 14 fumbled snaps and dumb shite. Neville is as good as anybody on their schedule....they just have had trouble getting out of their own way. Should have won by more tonight. 3 4 and outs inside the 20 tonight. Nobody is gonna want to play this team in the playoffs...and they have a good chance of winning the title. Watch.....

I remember when Bunkie came to Belle Chasse in 01

We were really good and only beat them 25-0 - their defense was stout

Even though I was only a young freshman, I can remeber m talking to a couple of their fans during pregame (they traveled well for a long trip) and they were some genuinely awesome people

Left an impression on me and I’m 38 now

Said all that just to say that even til today, I always find myself rooting for them when I’m scoreboard watching

So this is probably a stupid question so I apologize in advance, but my memory is totally jacked… I think I remember our coach saying something about Bunkie having some sort of historical significance to Louisiana HS football… am I dreaming that up or is there something to that?

ASH Ouachita was a pretty sloppy affair. Ouachita threw a couple picks and ASH fumbled leading to a scoop and score.

If I remember right ASH didn’t convert in three 4th downs? Two inside the 5 of Ouachita Again may be incorrect

Ouachita made some adjustments in their read keeps in the second half that gave us fits. The two big DT for Ouachita played well.

ASH looked like a MASH tent on the sideline. I think 5 starters were banged up in total.

QB is legit. If WRs didn’t drop so many balls in their bread basket the score would’ve been a lot worse

Braylon Calais got concussed on defense and knocked out of the game. As he goes so goes the Cecilia offense.

He is now taking the majority of snaps at QB, the primary rusher and a top receiver in addition to being the return man. They are a much different team without him on the field.

I was at the Karr vs Cutis game, it was like men against boys. Who is the Karr’s qb? Is he being recruited?
