In NOLA

Higgins, Riverdale, Salmen, Ben Franklin, Warren Easton to 5A. Huntington from Shreveport and Neville are also going up, confirmed

Bonnabel becomes one of the biggest schools in the state with 2311. Dutchtown is the biggest with 2613.

And I’m hearing smoke about Karr leaving the Catholic League…

Elsewhere:

Tensas’ falling enrollment may make them the first parish in many years undoubtedly to not have an LHSAA football team…

You hearing anything about Ponchatoula? It’s been rumored for a few years we would eventually end up in a 5A district with Livingston and Ascension schools. Looks like our enrollment has dropped. We were the 6th largest school , now 9th. Never would have guess that with the way this area is growing

The annual STM ducking 5A talk again.
1016 kids and somehow stays in 4a is laughable

Are those numbers of actual attendance for the all male and all female schools or is the multiplier already applied?

That cutoff number is dipping lower and lower every year… if we use the four divisions like we’ve been they’ll probably be in the top one

LCA headed back to 2A. Heard rumors they were adding wrestling. Not sure if that happens with the drop.

Opting up in class doesn’t take place for another couple of weeks.

I legitimately felt bad for those kids when I watched them play. They might have had 15 total kids suit up.

Well crap my bad. I was thinking when we played Sicily Island. They could barely field a team. I'll keep my mistake up there.

Somehow I don’t think they’ll go from that to playing Higgins and Riverdale

The kids they want will think they’re a joke. It’d be like LSU moving from the SEC to the Sun Belt

Ponchy and Hammond to the Livingston ascension district gives you room to do all that shuffling

Probably not happening. Prairieville High will most likely be 5A and placed in 5-5A which would make it a 7 team district
