Dont take the Behind the Back thing personal, Will Briscoe had been begging Mahaffy to use that play all season. I think he enjoyed throwing backwards more than he did forward

And the respect is mutual from me. Neil Weiner is a great guy (although the whole clock in the lockerroom thing blew up im his face a little bit) and id be lying if i said I wasnt jealous of that ridiculous field you guys have. Do yall still have those tall arse recievers yall had last season? I hope not

No Beard #7 is gone but Zachary upgraded. Donald Gage from redemptorist transferred to play at Zachary for his senior year i think he is committed to houston. He is a stud. Zachary compliments him with a couple hands guys and the slot is the littlest guy on the team but he is a burner. He got potw last week for 2 kick blocks and 2 return tds.We also upgraded at qb. Here's good news other then STM zachary probably has the weakest d y'all have seen

This thread was pretty quiet tonight.

I saw that Episcopal lost. How did U High do?

Edit: Saw UHS/Live Oak score. I'm pretty surprised that it was 26-14? Where are you icansee4miles? How did the game go down?

Sloppy game for Cubs. 3-4 turnovers and gave up a blocked punt, and a safety after a goal line stand. Trailed 14-7 in 4th qtr but finally got running game rolling down the stretch. Live Oak showed up ready to play.

Just read the Advocate article. I'm pretty surprised at it. Turnovers sure are drive killers and the messy weather surely didn't help.

I hear your hate, but I refuse to accept it.

Plus, Central is much more trashy than St. Amant. And don't you live on the west bank?

I guess I touched a nerve. The difference is that I can change my address, you can't change where you're from.

St Amant might be for real. They have 36 Seniors. Next week vs Douchetown will be the real test.
I went to the Denham-EA game where a controversial fumble call ended it. EA going in and it appeared Paleilei was down at the 6" line. Lawson jumps off the ground with the ball, the side judge runs in pointing to the ground then signals first down Denham.
Btw Paleilei >>> Blanchard, fwiw.

Yeah, two lost fumbles, a pick on the first series, a muffed punt we lost and gave up a safety.

Live Oak was running a lot of stunts on their DL and our OL was shuffled after losing one of our starters last week. Brossette was getting hit in the backfield on almost every carry. Live Oak made it clear someone other than #4 was going to have to beat them, and I told Wildman we were clearly missing Cronin at QB.

No, we made an adjustment and brought another guy into the backfield to pick up the first guy firing in, and once Nick was able to get his moves on, the game changed. Their program has improved-a lot of younger kids and they were very well prepared. Of course, my son said their OL was holding so much that Tim Williams' shoulder pads got broken from being tackled by blockers.

Our biggest issue in the playoffs will be when we face an Evangel or Calvary that throws the ball well. Our DB's get caught looking into the backfield a lot when the QB rolls or scrambles. A running team, unless they have a Brazil caliber athlete shouldn't beat us.

St Amant is not for real. They are one dimensional. The weather played a huge role. I understand that weather is part of the game. Central should have been up 20-6 at half.

As far as central being trashier then st Amant please. I wanted to throw up seeing the st Amant moms wearing their cut off jean shorts and white sketchers. I don't plan on ever going to the pit again. One thing though it makes me appreciate our lp rivals a lot more.

If Dunham played like they did last night, they should give U High a good game. They've improved so much from week to week.

Calvary and Curtis are the best 2 in 2A. If they end up on the same side of the bracket, it'll be Curtis vs UHigh in Dome. If they're on opposite sides, it'll be Curtis vs Calvary and Curtis will win...by several touchdowns.
