I've never witnessed something like that in person. It was animalistic. I dont doubt there were some bad eggs outside the stadium, but those kids already decided they were fighting someone halfway through that game.

I just lurk, dont ever post here....but just want to make sure people realize what happened was going to happen whether they had 4 deputies or 50.
This is a growing trend in sports even at the youth level and the behavioral issues with the "COVID KIDS" the kids that missed 2 years of development, discipline, education, accountability, social interaction and everything that goes along with the aforementioned are bordering a lost cause. talk to any educator, counselor or coach(even officials) and they will tell you the same. Draconian measures are need to prevent future incidents and send a clear message.

Glad they weren’t this strict back in the day, we had a brawl with Zachary after the game one time, I think they suspended like 2 players from each team
It was far less common back in the day(save for the first couple of years after integration).....

I played late 70s early 80s and it was very rare. I did knock out and break the jaw of a player that spit on me during a baseball game and yes I got suspended,

There’s probably a reason why Carroll had to make road trips to Morgan City, Assumption, and Abramson… and next year to (I’m assuming) Woodlawn Shreveport and Southern Lab to fill their schedule. A few years ago they only had 8 games and that’s because Monroe schools didn’t really want to play them, and that speaks volumes.

You know I wondered how they ended up in MC one week then Napoleonville the next.

Ha! Didn't even know i already had a user name it's been so long......I just feel for those kids. They did everything they were supposed to. They could have made it 100x worse. That was an impossible situation brought on entirely by that other school's antics and the LHSAA should see it at such.

Maybe so but it keeps happening to the same kind of teams. Everyone knows which teams to be careful with. I know with all the covid crap of missing school I never stopped parenting my kids. It’s pretty simple to figure out the missing variable.

This right here. The writing is on the wall. They were giving plenty of chances but no accountability whatsoever

#9 West Monroe at #5 Neville

Neville dominated WM at the Bayou Jamb. WM is much improved and will pull off a shocker.

WM by 1 point in a last minute drive.

Braylon Calais at QB hands off on first play on offense, RB fumbles and Calais picks it up and runs 48 yds for a TD. 7 minutes till half, Hahnville 25. HL Bourgeois 3.

Good move to play tonight considering its homecoming, court won’t have to deal with bad weather.

Oops, now 31-3, 6:40 till half

Halftime

Cecilia stalled inside the 10 and had the FG blocked and scooped but ball was fumbled and recovered by Cecilia on the tackle near midfield.
