Was surprised to see such a low turnout for West Monroe tonight….looks like the program may have lost its Mojo

West Monroe is a shell of what it was even 10 years ago. The community and once nationally known booster club have become lazy. Now look at Ruston taking advantage of it.

Kickoffs were the difference in the game. Can’t give a team the caliber of Catholic 2 scores that war. 6 is special. Wonderful throw on their last touchdown before the half.

I’ll credit the team for not quitting. Could’ve laid down and gotten blown out. It was 28-14 with less than 3 minutes to go and Catholic added their only points of the 2nd half. WM got back to the 10 and couldn’t haul in 2 touchdown passes.

Catholic is very well coached and disciplined. I think they had 2 flags until the final drive. Technically sound in every single facet. Great job and hats off to their coaches and players.

I honestly haven’t see WM much in the last few years but they just don’t look right.. they show flashes of their old self but look disjointed at times. Defense doesn’t have the same punch as a whole.. they play hard though and you can see it’s in there for them to get it back

Unfortunately, they are not.

They should have been 0-3 because they refused to throw the ball. So tonight the kid goes 23/26 210 2 TD.

Chess not checkers. I wouldn’t count the Destrehan game for evaluating play calling. It was a downpour.

The coaches and players use the regular season to figure things out and they’ll be playing their best ball in the playoffs. Maybe they didn’t want to ruin the new QBs confidence throwing the ball around against top tier competition. He played great today and will get better.

0 points for the BM offense. An all-time low tonight. Jesuit manhandled the BM o-line.

The ASH Opelousas game was wild. JT just willed himself to the goal line on a 50 yard screen. The Ford kid is a load but their QB is a game changer. They really should trust him to throw it more. He threw some dimes. And the best catch that will happen came from an Opelousas receiver. Laid out over the middle for a one handed grab with three ASH defenders in decent coverage.

It was a well played game on the worst field I have seen in sometime. And Opelousas is pretty rough come game night. But that track is poor at best.

Think Bulldogs lost QB after 2nd series?

Central Defense led by D-End DK Mays 6-5" 245 ....Houston Cougars Commit.....Offense QB Jackson Firmin a Nicholls commit.

Yeah was hoping to see the whole WM “show” with the big band and cheer squad. Looked like any other team over there. CHS / Central will be a big time atmosphere at Memorial.

How many turnovers did BM have 3 or 4…..

That didn’t help either…

Rebels will probably be 5-5 this year. 6-4 at best.

Not often you see a STM team get dominated like that.

Last time they won 5 games was 1989, my senior year and Don Shows' first year.
