Catholic was sloppy with penalties but STM was pesky and tough.. they eventually wore down but their QB, main receiver and running backs were a handful… undersized on the line but never gave in and did really well. Catholic was lucky they were able to wear them down with the running game.

What atrocities did the refs conspire against the owls tonight?

Lakeshore was a lot more physical in first half

But Chalmette had plenty of chances in second half. They gonna watch the tape and be sick afterwards

Learning opportunity

They conspired plenty against both teams. Crazy number of unsportsmanlike penalties against both teams. Referees kept getting confused when administering penalties.

But Chalmette lost because they fell behind 21-0 and had 3 second half turnovers

I’ll take a loss to Lakeshore every time if it means we beat Holy Cross… I’ll take three regular season losses every time if it means we make the quarterfinals…

Dont forget about the wide open touchdowns we overthrew… Lakeshore needs to clean up their defensive backfield to be a top team in their division… after Holy Cross we won’t see a physical team again until the playoffs
