I guess playing in the Catholic league fixes our strength of schedule issue…

Where does Karr play their home games? I’m looking down the road for a potential Karr vs Catholic match up.

Morris FX Jeff Sr. Park aka Behrman Stadium. You can get high on second hand weed smoke.

Might be overlooked by many, but Basile being placed in a district with LCA, Notre Dame, Kinder, Welsh, and to a lesser extent Lake Arthur (who beat us 35-0 in football this year) is gonna divebomb our athletic programs. We knew the move to 2A (by a few students) would be rough but this is just a brutal blow. Every sport besides wrestling will suffer.

If the LHSAA had any common sense they would have put Basile in 5-2a. Just a complete disaster but I’m not surprised with how ignorant the LHSAA can be.

It’s already insane that Welsh and Lake Arthur have had to play Notre Dame, LCA, and Lafayette Renaissance the past couple years. That’s three guaranteed L’s.

LCA belongs in 8-2a with all the teams south of Lafayette. Logistically it’s around 20-30 miles versus coming west 40-50 miles.

looks like they tried to put the schools close geographically...some are closer than others. That team south east of monroe in district 3 got to screwed too, they have them travelling just west of Natchez when they could have been included in the district in along I20 east of monroe.

I just noticed Newman dropping down to 2A. That district is a mess.

Newman has pretty much always been 2A…

Except for the cycle they spent in our 3A district before Katrina

Comment threw me off for a second, had to go look up to make sure I wasn't dreaming that Newman has been in 2A for a very long time

Those poor Lake Charles 5A teams already get boat raced by the Lafayette schools, and now you’re throwing STM into the district. That’s gonna hurt.
