I’m gonna ask the dumb question that’s been going on for the past 20 years and is so stupid and ridiculous dating back to the Cox sports days when they would show the games the next day or weekend after. But is there any live streams for these game or networks to watch?

Have to pay the subscription and stream on NFHS. I keep a subscription, because, if Crescent City Sports isn't streaming a game I want to watch, and there's no YouTube games I want to watch, I can't watch any Louisiana hsfb games on my cable here in Ruston. I get Texas games, Detroit games, and a big time Cali game at (:30 pm every Friday on my Bally Sports channels, but no Louisiana games since the statewide Cox channel went away four or five years ago.

I've got cousins that have played at OCS, but don't normally pull for them because they are the reason we have the split, and they are the reason we'll keep it. 1A public schools will never be able to compete with them when they bring kids in from multiple parishes.

Parochial schools are there to offer the education and the discipline. The 1A, 2A and 3A "Christian" schools are there to win ballgames.

The OCS QB Landon Graves is Dr. Sol Graves' son. Dr. Sol is a one time LSU QB who is an orthopedic surgeon now.

Someone at the game told me he’s scored over 100 td’s during his time at OCS. Running and passing. Not sure if true

Someone pointed out that the QB isn't Sol Graves' son. The QB is just a junior, and has been starting for a couple of years.

Yeh…I won’t pretend to have extensive knowledge of the history of football divisions, but not sure this applies to OCS…like stated above…most of these kids are home grown and have been in OCS system since elementary. Not apples to apples of a John Curtis situation.

To the points made on Landon Graves: he did break a school record of over 105 TDs accounted for. And he is a graduating senior, not a junior.

Not many people notice when a ball boy gives one to a wing official and they give it right back and say “get another one and put that one away”

Unsat balls are one reason “kicking balls” are being limited.

My son played in 2 state championships the last few years, and neither were in the dome. I hate Latoya for it because he really wanted to win one there.

They did it the last time I was in the Dome. Came before the game with a gauge and a pump in the hallway where you walk out. I was standing right there.

They check air pressure of all games balls before every game all season long. If the team has them properly inflated, they check them and leave. If a team is underinflating, they have to air them up to standard and initial off on them.

DESTREHAN vs. RUSTON

It just feels like they finally got that West Monroe Monkey off their back, it seems like the last 4-5 years they would look like a team to compete and then lose to West Monroe and they would lose all confidence the rest of the season. I think it could go either way, but I just think the way Ruston has been playing both sides of the ball I'd give them the edge. I don't think either team winning would surprise me though.

I am a 1990 Ruston graduate but live in Monroe now. Ruston hasn't been good since I was in high school. Those Chick Childress teams of the 80s and early 90 were unstoppable
