I agree and am mostly messing around on here. Props to all the teams. Ruston is accustomed to choking in the playoffs but I still root for them. We are the Atlanta Falcons of HS football.

Lol Catholic was also perennial chokers until they ripped the monkey off their back in 2015 and realized the full potential of the program. Good luck to the Bearcats, would like some new blood in what used to be 5A

I went to Ruston. I don’t know man, never heard anything but good things from our crowds, don’t know jack squat about our band. Sucks if they acted inappropriately, can happen from any school I promise. I was just messing around. I’ll be honest, I was surprised with our season this year, thought next year would be the year since they are so young. I live in Lafayette and go to a few of their games in south La, never noticed bad things from the fans of Ruston

I do have respect for the players though. They were often helping D.S. players up and offering hands. Didn't see any taunting or showboating other than celebrating good plays and it never seemed to be directed towards the D.S. players.

That’s good, seems Ruston has a good coached team. Denham Springs seems like a good program, watched them on stream, hard fighting team. shite, seems they scored 10 points before I got done pissing right at half

Crazy how much HSFB has changed. Back in ‘07 we played Tuerlings on the regular before they moved up to 4A, but we would have never thought to play STM or Westgate

Coach got bailed out by the inadvertent whistle on 3rd down, because they got to replay the down, and then they peed down their leg on 4th down and gave the ball back to Denham Springs.

DSHS is on the rise for sure. Coach Beard is getting it done. It’s a completely different culture than before. If the trademark of this team is Fight for all 48 minutes, then they are definitely succeeding.
They most likely will take a step back next year considering they had so many 3 year starters, but they’ve got a nice young QB in Horne with 5 games of playoff experience. If they tailor the offense to his skill set, there won’t be much of a dropoff. Excellent frosh & soph classes about to step up as well.

Had fans ranging from 15 to 70 sitting on the sideline talking shite to our players while the game was going on. Had to have a ref and sheriffs deputy get them out of there. They complained about referring when the penalty yardage total at half was something like 120 yards to 5 in their favor with 4 TDs called back against WF. We should have hung 80 on them.
North Vermillion was undersized a good bit tonight. Very scrappy team - it got chippy at the end and the refs just burned the last 3 minutes off and got the teams out of there. But those NV kids played their butts off. The talent was too much to overcome.
We host Lutcher for a trip to the dome next week. Can not wait. I know Lutcher is going to be tough. I honestly think they are the toughest team left in division 2 non select.
Also very proud of Zachary for taking care of business. Hope they can go up to Ruston and show them the same love they have been showing WM.

People saying Ruston is all that. I don’t know. Denham completely shite the bed in the first quarter got down by 21 then outplayed Ruston the rest of the game.
Having seen Zachary and Ruston in person now, I put my money on Zachary.
And I hate saying that. Can’t stand Zachary.
Great season Jackets. They lose a ton of seniors though.
