West Fel, Catholic and Zachary three defending state champs.
Neither JC nor WM can claim even ONE defending champ.

well it's tougher... Shaw or Pineville would be second in U-High's district

I doubt that seriously, especially when PBS returns to that district.

U-High beat both Catholic and Zachary who are better than anyone on WM's schedule with maybe the exception of Ehret.

Same goes for JC with the exception of Bishop Lynch.

Anxious to see how the Gators fare against the Rebels tonight. Probably Shreves best team in ages. I just hope they can at least hang for a while and show better than when we had to play WM my Jr year in 96'i believe. Tommy Banks was quite literally unstoppable for at least 200 I'm sure.

Expect more of the same.

Shreve doesn't have the defensive front to contend for 4 quarters.

Now, their offensive line? They are HUGE. Massive boys. I am anxious to see how they fare against WM front. They look physical on both sides of the ball.

Can anyone please advise the best way to watch these playoffs online, particularly WM vs. Shreve?

TIA

I’m not sure he even dresses out with varsity.

He does. #23. Had about 50 yards rushing last week with the 3rd string. Had 1 carry the week before against NC for about 6 yards.

McGill-Toolen would give both problems if not outright beat them. 7A runner up to Hoover in Alabama.

WHOA.

You really think a fully healthy Zachary squad loses to that McGill team I saw? Yikes.

Zachary's offense is immensely better at every level including quarterback.

Who on McGill team has the ability of Whitfield, Hilton, Simmons, and Davis oitside #1? With the wheels of Brown?

I believe Hilton at Zachary is a 5 star player in 2 years already with offers from the entire SEC already .

I thought their entire LB corps was out against UHigh? At least that's what you told us.

ETA: McGill-Toolen was a ridiculous decision to run the ball vs taking a knee away from beating WM. So to act like Zachary would blow them out is extremely far fetched.

What does U-High have to do with anything?

They are a top 10 team in the nation in some polls.

Gane was 35-27 with 6 minutes left and a horrible PI call on 3rd and 8 stopped Zachary from getting a shot to tie.

No McGill was not that impressive to me. They weren't nearly as athletic as Zachary and looked like a lesser version of St Thomas More.

UHigh would whip WM like a drum and I doubt WM could score more than 14 points, if that against them.

Good Lord, reading is fundamental. The entire discussion was about UHigh's opponents being compared to WM and JC's. Zachary was used as a defending state champion. I said McGill-Toolen was a 7A runner up, losing to Hoover.

That's what U-High has to do with anything. It's quintessential to the entire discussion at hand.

Nobody is beating WM like a drum. Sure, they may get beat but they have a defense that’s going to keep them in every game.

Yes. I have to question the sanity of anyone that thinks any team would beat WM like a drum. They've had one close game all year. To a legit Alabama powerhouse. Yet, U-High is gonna run roughshod over them.
Ha.
Ask #10 ranked Catholic how bad they beat a 2 loss WM team in 96. This WM team is light years better than that team.
