Is that kid QBing at Hahnville? In order to win State they would likely have to beat:

Zachary
Acadiana
Destrehan
West Monroe

Jesus Christ. That's like every state champion minus Landry Walker the past 15 years.

Yes, Andrew Robison is the QB at Hahnville now.
He played the last regular season game and the 1st round playoff against Walker.

He has made a huge difference. The offense is much better with a great passing threat and the defense is much better, because they aren't on the field all the time.

But I am not sure that Hahnville has enough to make it to the dome.

one of those 15 was Hahnville knocking off Evangel...

the ones that are missing are in the select bracket now

15, 17 Zachary
07, 08 Destrehan or 16 LW
06, 10, 13, 14 Acadiana
05, 09, 11 WM

From what highlights I saw, he throws a beautiful pass, too.

Will any of those teams in III be a test for Notre Dame?

Hanhnville isn't making state but they'll upset Zachary this weekend at home.

Catholic NI and Country Day will be the toughest challenge. I don't believe Newman has enough this year

Ruston matches up offensiveky, but defensively they will get worked.

Should be more of the same.

The same Catholic NI team Notre Dame was up 48-0 on in the 3rd quarter? Yea I don't think they'll be a challenge.

WM gets a challenge by the Gators of C/S. With the WMs star RB, Cam Wright, who is very doubtful for the game, this game could be decided in the 4th.

WM, however, start to pulls away late in the 3rd QTR. WM by 2 TDs

quote:

9 Alexandria at 8 (#14) Ruston

An interesting matchup that can go either way. Both teams are seeing an upsurge in their respective programs.

Ruston has the home field advantage and wins by a FG.

12 Slidell at 5 East Ascension

EA is a dark horse team in 5A and has a chance to go deep in the playoffs. EA pulls off the win.

quote:

13 Haughton at 4 John Ehret

Don't sleep on Haughton, as they could sneak up on a team. JE has progressed leaps and bounds since the first of the season and looks to be strong.

Haughton in a shocker.

quote:

(#19) Acadiana at 19 Denham Springs

The Wrecking Rams seem to turn it up come playoff time.

Acadiana's veer offense will be too much for the Yellow Jackets of DS. Acadiana by 2 TDs.

quote:

6 (#12) Zachary at 22 Hahnville

Hahnville has new life with the return of their QB, add to that advantage of home field.
Could be an upset, maybe but I am going with my gut.

Zachary in dogfight.

quote:

10 (#22) Ouachita at 7 Terrebonne/quote]

Another game that can go either way. Ouachita has played some of the best teams in the state; West Monroe, Neville & Ruston only to come up short.

My heart says Ouachita but Terrebonne sends the Lions of Milhaven home for the year.

[quote]2 (#9) Destrehan at 18 Landry Walker

The Wildcats have one of the best RB in the country in Emery and a host of other talent.

This one is going to get ugly early, Desty walks by at least 3 TDs.

IDK man. Desty handled up Terrebonne pretty good.

Hope to catch some of the Desty/LW game next week on their youtube channel
