LOL I was at Tioga in the mid-2000s.

It's always geographic. People in Tioga always thought WO and Neville were a bunch of tools. It's all in good fun Nothing like a few good rivalries.

TC already pulled Tate after 2.2 innings, 3 hits, 6 earned runs, 1 So and 5 BB?

and thats supposed to be their ace that singed with Tulane 3 years ago?

People have bad days. We lit Poche up for 6 runs in 2 innings several months before he was a weekend starter at LSU. The kid will probably be fine

Well he got lit up against U High as well..matter of fact he took the only loss to Uhigh last weekend..pitched 7 innings, 103 pitches and gave up 5 hits.

I get that people have bad days...maybe he's not a pitcher...dude can def hit and he can play 1st base.

He'll be fine...he's a big kid as well. I'm not meaning to hate on him, but if you're TC you have to throw your best in this game to move on....and it appears they believe Tate is their best dude.

and yes I know, TC best 2 arms are benched due to injury..so who knows what would have happened if Comeaux and the other dude were healthy.

I think WO will be fine in 5A but winning a title is a hard thing to do if your school isn’t Barbe. WO always seems to have good ballplayers and a good coaching staff.

Since when is allowing 5 hits in 7 innings getting “lit up”?
That being said, wouldn’t surprise me if he’s not that good. The only other pitcher from Louisiana that Tulane signed this year couldn’t even get on the field in his playoff series

WM saves their ace for the championship. Start Blaylock and gets pulled in the 2nd inning. Seth Edwards comes in and shuts Walker down. He gives up a 1 out double in the top of the 7th with WM up 3-1. Simoneaux brings in his Ace Lane Little to get the last 2 outs. WM wins 3-1 and moves on to the finals.

Those of you at McMurry, how does the ballpark look? I drove by there not long after the 2nd hurricane and it was a total mess. Fences down, scoreboards and dugouts heavily damaged, trees down everywhere.
Thought at the time there would be no way it could be ready for the playoffs.
