going to skull frick Teurlings

I’m hoping to read about some of their top players.

ETA - Teurlings won 9-8 when they met in late March.

Don’t count the Rebels out when Ryan Richard or Ben Tate is pitching

Tioga is winning the series 2-0. Neither game will be close.

Whoever moves on is getting steamrolled in the semis so does it even matter

I gotta go with"

Barbe, Sam Houston, Walker and Dutchtown

I had to have 1 underdog and I think Dutchtown is peaking now.

When is Destrehan going to hire a good coach? Mind blowing they haven't won a state title with the amount of talent that has gone through that school.

Dutchtown is playing really good ball right now. West Monroe is beatable too. WM has great players but they always seem to choke when they get deep into the playoffs. Will probably go check this series out this weekend

West Monroe could have easily gotten beat round 1 and round 2. They made a once in a lifetime catch to advance against Parkway. By the way if you did not see the catch the right fielder made it was remarkable. Have to think their luck runs out this weekend.

NOLA area schools just lose too much to be competitive in 5A nonselect...

this isn't the old days where Rummel and Curtis relied on JPRD. they all get from the entire metro area now.

the secret of success for districts 1-3 in particular is that they ARE the "Catholic League" schools of those areas

I don't agree with this. Destrehan has had many years where they were absolutely loaded with talent and didn't win. The football team has multiple titles, baseball has none.

Yes and no. The catch and double up were massive, but WM was still home. Everyone is acting as though the game would have ended there without the catch.

It’s funny when catholic league was dominate statewide baseball district and football was not they blamed “too many schools diluting kids”
